The Delicious Guide: one hundred addresses to discover the culinary gems of Lausanne and the surrounding region!
October 1 marks the launch of the Delicious Guide, an ambitious project led by the 14 communes of the Lausanne tourist region (FERL) and various partners such as GastroLausanne, the Office des Vins Vaudois, Enjoy Lausanne, Vaud Promotion and Lausanne Tourism. This guide seeks to promote and celebrate our region's gastronomic scene. It also reflects the commitment to strengthening connections and collaboration between the sector’s key players, with the goal of promoting the Lausanne tourism region.
An original guide
The Delicious Guide, available in print and digital formats, is completely free. It stands out for its selection of culinary gems, from market stalls to brasseries, starred restaurants, delicatessens, open-air cafés, regional specialities, wine cellars and coffee shops. Around a hundred establishments have been meticulously chosen by a team of nine independent journalists and food bloggers.
A daily source of inspiration
This guide is designed to be the perfect companion throughout the day, offering suggestions for brunch, lunch, or an aperitif. Each address is accompanied by curated recommendations, such as must-try dishes, ensuring an unforgettable culinary experience. In addition, a collaboration with BDFIL, Lausanne’s iconic comic strip festival, has allowed three artists to "sketch" Lausanne with illustrations filled with charming anecdotes.
A showcase for our gastronomic destination
The Delicious Guide, translated in English, is aimed at residents and tourists alike. Its purpose is to position Lausanne and the surrounding region as an essential gastronomic destination, thanks to the diversity of its establishments, the richness of its terroir and the dynamism of its culinary events.
An evolving project
Published annually, the Delicious Guide’s selection will evolve over time, with the constant aim of supporting the local gastronomic scene and highlighting its emerging talents. In this edition, for example, the restaurant L'Appart is featured. Run by young chef Luis Zuzarte, L'Appart has been awarded an extra point in the Gault&Millau 2025, in recognition of its creativity and commitment to responsible, local cuisine.
