What's New?

Lausanne's Bô Noël is proud to introduce a fresh ethical market concept at the heart of its festive celebrations. Visitors can discover a curated selection of eco-conscious clothing, artisan home decor, cruelty-free cosmetics, and gourmet vegan delights – perfect for those seeking thoughtful and lasting gifts. The market's commitment to ethical standards has been done without compromising on festive cheer.

For families, a novel carousel awaits, crafted in the image of a majestic Christmas tree, while thrill-seekers can delight in the 20-meter-long toboggan run, fashioned from snow recovered from the Malley Skating Rink. This will be free for those with sleds, otherwise rentals are available from CHF 2.

This year there will also be 36 local designer shops, which will be housed in seven recycled containers, that will also feature a rooftop bar.

Activities:

The pop-up DUPLEX ROOM hotel makes for the perfect romantic couples escape, an ephemeral hotel experience overlooking the Historical Museum of Lausanne's serene gardens. Prices from CHF 295 for two people and includes an overnight stay, fondue vouchers, mulled wine vouchers, breakfast, an aperitif box, and a bottle of wine.

Amidst the merry hustle, the Grand Marché de Saint-François unveils its transformation, crowned with a monumental 15-meter tree made of oversized baubles. Just a short walk away, the iconic Place du Château once again hosts the Big Wheel, offering sweeping views of the city's wintry splendour.

Mark your calendars for November 25 at 6:00 pm, when the grand opening parade sets off, weaving magic through the streets of Lausanne. The parade is led by Santa Claus and accompanied by the rhythmic beats of 100 drums and the storied tracassets of the Vaudois vineyards.

Other highlight activities include the Petit train Bô Noël, where families are invited to embark on a festive train journey that connects the Flon district to the heart of the city.
